Our Story: For The Love Of Draft Beers

At A Head for Profits, our mission is simple: to make sure draft beer tastes exactly the way the brewer intended. When we first entered the market, we noticed a recurring problem—dirty draft lines. Poorly maintained equipment was compromising beer flavor, disappointing customers, and pushing them toward bottled options instead of giving draught beer another shot. For bar owners, this wasn’t just a quality issue—it was a profitability problem. Draft beer is one of the most lucrative items on the menu, so serving anything less than perfect—including incorrect carbonation levels or serving temperatures—can take a big bite out of the bottom line.

That’s where we come in. We provide regular beer line cleaning services across 16 U.S. states and Washington, D.C., with a team of experts who know draft beer inside and out. Every member of our crew holds Cicerone Server Level certifications, and we’re committed to keeping them at the top of their game with ongoing training and in-house testing on key performance standards like serving beer at its optimal carbonation and temperature.

But we’re not just about cleaning draft lines—we’re about building partnerships. Our team works directly with bar owners and their staff to share best practices for serving the perfect pint. Whether it’s tips on equipment maintenance, nailing the ideal pour, managing carbon dioxide systems, keeping glasses beer-clean, or deepening draught beer knowledge, we’re here to help you elevate your draft program.

Our mission is to help bars serve draft beer that meets the brewmaster’s high standards. When handled right, draft beer isn’t just better tasting—it’s more profitable and environmentally friendly, too.

Key Milestones

Before A Head for Profits started, draft beer was often treated casually by the wholesale and retail communities. But with the rise of craft beer, consumer demand for better serving quality skyrocketed.

The challenge? The industry lacked the infrastructure to maintain the high service standards needed to ensure quality draft beer.

That’s where we stepped in. In 2011, we saw an opportunity to revolutionize draft beer service, creating a solution that benefits everyone—the brewers, the wholesalers, and the bar and restaurant owners.

We clean and service over

260,000

lines per month

We began our company in Nashville with one distributor, cleaning 500 draft beer lines monthly in bars and restaurants. We are now cleaning 100% of the draft beer line in the Nashville market, and we have grown into 16 states plus DC  throughout the United States.

We now have a portfolio of over 75 wholesalers and their brewers, for which we clean draft beer lines. AHFP cleans and services over 195,000 lines per month.

20 Million

As a company, we recently broke the “20 million lines cleaned” milestone. We are providing regular service now for over 37,000 restaurants.

We’ve grown in our sales and installation department as well. We are now installing, on average, over 1000 draft systems in the US yearly. We have partner relationships with the nation’s largest wholesalers and some of the nation’s largest restaurant groups.

We have expanded operations on the West Coast after opening a new office in California. We have also started locations in Chicago, Kansas City and Austin, TX, among others, in our existing footprint as we continue our growth.
